What are the Implications of the Supreme Court directive to Central govt in the surplus food grains case?

The govt. will take populist measures only if they can take credit for it. Providing free foodgrains to BPL people will benefit te people but not the govt. It will wait for some time and once the court ruling is forgotten (2 or 3 months), they will launch a grand scheme under the name of some member of the Nehru Gandhi family and Sonia will take the credit. The same way as it had done with RLEGP (a programme which was forced on the govt. by their erstwhile left partners but credit for which is claimed by Sonia).
