Why are people obsessed with Twilight?

It has always been the case throughout history. There is something soothing to the mind, when we watch a fantasy. It take you to another world. A world void of hatred and malice. A world where all the events take place exactly as it should and exactly as the writer dictated and exactly as the viewer wishes to see. What a wonderful escape from the bitter realities of our world today.
