Can I go swimming in a creek if I have ringworm?

I got ringworm from my dog. I have been putting anti-fungal ointment on it for 2 days. It started as only one circle but I scratched it before I knew what it was and it spread and is now two circles on my arm next to eachother. My family is going to the creek tomorrow so I was wondering if it would be alright for me to swim with them. I was thinking it would be ok because it's constantly moving water it's not like a pool. Tell me what you think please!!!
