Well-paying jobs without a degree?

Hey guys I'm trying to decide what I should do to get a job or start a career that I wouldn't have to struggle to make ends meet with. I'm not expecting riches, but just something that pays the bills. I'm in college right now and I'm failing. I've tried to focus and get my work done but it's rly hard for me it's rly not my thing. It's been that way in high school too. I'm a smart person - I ped all of my AP exams - most of them with a score of 4. I'm a great tester, but when it comes to getting my work done I have tried and tried again and I have real trouble motivating myself or focusing. I've also always wanted to be a singer/songwriter/musician, but I need to have time for that - to be able to write songs and everything, so I would really love to hear some options about careers or jobs that would pay decently per hour so I could pay the bills and still find time to work on my music. I work at a restaurant right now but that definitely doesn't pay enough. Please don't tell me I need college, etc. Like I said I have really tried... I just want to hear some options.
