Levantine Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, or Egyptian Arabic?

Modern Standard Arabic will be understand all over the Muslim world. It is probably the best to start with. That will give you a good foundation for learning a dialect. Unless you are traveling to a certain country then I would just stick with MSA.
